Palace by the Zee

Welcoming hotel with friendly staff. We arrived early, from the ferry, at 11:00 and they had a room ready for us. This allowed us to park straight away and explore the area, lots going on as it was King’s Day. Room spacious and clean, I read that the TV is connectable to your device so you can use your own streaming services. Water is hot and plentiful and an Infrared lamp in the shower. A mini bar package can be bought to stock your fridge. Complimentary tea and capsule coffee in the room. We had a late ferry on check out day and it was okay to leave the car all day after we’d checked out. We hired cycles from the hotel on our last day. Brilliant hotel and area, plenty of local food and drinking places within easy walking distance. The beach and a handful of beach clubs with excellent food and ambiance are also within easy walking distance.

It was a great weekend with family, but the rooms and corridors needs a renovation. And the swimming pool could be bigger. It was nice, but for a hotel that has family weekenders as one of the main target groups, a larger swimming area is needed. 3 families there and it looks overcrowded

Very noisy works nearby from 05:30 morning

After requesting a quiet room in the reservation, I was given a room which had the windows right near a site with major construction works which made a huge noise from 05:30 in the morning (half of the hotel rooms are on that side). So I woke up at 05:30 and could not sleep due to the noise. Don’t go to this hotel in the next year if you want to sleep. Anything else is OK.

We would go there again

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The amenities were great, the staff was really helpfull and nice. We asked them for a flag since it was our daughter's birthday during our stay, and they went above and beoyon and made a nice table with flag and balloons. The breakfast was great, good quality. The rooms were a great size. We would definitely stay with them again. The bistro just across from the hotel serves good food.

Great place to stay before and after your flight from Schiphol. Clean, good service, convenient, shuttle service to and from the airport. Modern and large rooms with wonderful beds. Recommend the breakfast buffet.

Two nights business trip. Main restaurant/breakfast room is under refurbishmen but breakfast served in other room. Worked good. They have freshly squezed orange juice, iron for shirts + ironing board can be delivered to the room.
