Going down hill
We have stayed here multiple times and each time we stay the facility seems dirtier and dirtier. The heating unit in our room made a horrible grinding noise causing disruptive sleep. The. bathtub mat came loose causing a horrible slipping issue as it was pure slime underneath. We brought these issues to the front desk and no note was made or concern shown.

Needs some work, but the people were friendly.
Here are my issues: 1. Nobody manned the front desk. There was a sign to dial 0 to get assistance. 2. The hot water in the room stayed very hot for my entire shower & I had to rinse my teeth with hot water after brushing. 3. The drain plug to the bath tub was out & on the edge, not connected to the actual drain. 4. The blinds in the hallway were filthy with dust. 5. The side door would not open to enter, even after the green light came on from my key. I had to walk to the front entrance in freezing cold weather. 6. The shower curtain had black at the bottom of it, probably mold. They need to be washed. 7. I think a family member lived on the 3rd floor as I could smell curry cooking & it’s not a favorable smell.

Was decent
Rooms were fine. Very soft tiny pillows. Average. The breakfast was terrible. Had to eat breakfast out each day. I kept on asking for extra towels because they’d only give me 2 a day. Shower had no fan so the moisture was intense. It required a lot of toweling. Was decent for the area.

The property needs a proper update. The update that was done is terrible. Paint job is sloppy and incomplete. The ceiling was patched but not sanded and still had water stains. Carpet had paint drips on them. The bathroom sink wasn’t properly attached to the counter. The sloppy update makes the hotel feel dirty, but it is not dirty. Windows only had a shade, no sheer curtains, so you had to keep the shade closed so people wouldn’t see in. So my room was always in the dark. Room was clean, sheets were clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Frequent cross country traveler.
We stayed on the 3rd floor and everything looked recently refurbished and was clean. The shower drained slowly, but the water was hot this morning and it looked like the hotel was pretty full last night so my shower was probably after most guests had already left. Breakfast not the best I have had but not too bad.

I just generally feel that all hotels should have small tables on each side of both beds. People have phones, books, and glasses to set down. They don't always want to disrupt their sleeping partner for this or put their things on the floor.

This property is managed and operated by people whose first language is not English. This made check-in awkward. Maid service did not service our room anytime during our two-day stay. When dirt and dust are visible, it raises the question of general sanitation. I overpaid for this room when I consider what we got.
