Excellent location. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Good amenities. Only real cons were quite a bit of noise could be heard from other rooms, and there were some unsavoury characters sitting outside the hotel entrance and making comments when we came at night, which I appreciate is not the fault of the hotel

Great location for food, shopping, and transportation. One of the two elevators didn't work (and hadn't for months)! Clean, and every thing else worked. Staff was wonderful at storing our bags before and after our stay for free. Price is right. We would stay there again. ThinkTank and Birmingham Museum were much better than I had expected. ThinkTank has the best collection of machines I have ever seen--4 huge floors!
