Pretty on the outside, no so special on the inside
If you are looking for actual schloss' or burgs (castles or palaces) to stay at, Schloss Engers is not one of them. It seems to be pretty much just an event hotel. The outside looks fantastic, but there was not much to the inside at all (at least for regular guests). The breakfast was good and sufficient, but that was maybe the only highlight. There was nothing special about the rooms. It is not in an easily accessed location (far from the highlights of Koblenz). And the price was definitely not worth it. If you are looking to explore Koblenz or stay in a palace or castle, I would not stay at Engers. If you are looking for an aesthetic place right on the Rhine for an event, maybe it will suffice. But overall I saw nothing special about the place.

Very friendly staff.
The staff is REALLY friendly and helpfull. The breakfast in the basement was good, but we missed the possibility to sit outside (the area was not prepared for it) as the weather was really nice. For us, the beds were too soft, but maybe others will find them nice? You can park on the premisses and they have chargers for electric cars (25€ per charge). We missed some possibilities for dining out (and the hotel did not serve lunch/dinner) in the area, but it's a nice town for walks.

Mixed feeling !
Corridor was stained and dirty full of dried coffee ? Person at the reception was very helpful and professional. Very small bed for a single room . All rooms are now 2 beds single or 1 queen bed but not one small ? Breakfast was very good . Place of the hotel is great !
