First got there and air conditioning was on its January in Wisconsin. The pull out couch was all stained and dirty didn’t want to sit on it let alone sleep on it. The beds were uncomfortable, the elevators had a fire helmet light on, not sure what that was about. All in all would not ever stay here again

Not the Best
We checked in & despite their website stating that parking was complimentary, there was a fee. It was only $14, which was less than other places, but because we had such a short stay, the price mattered. Also, we were charged $45+ more than what we booked it for on hotels.com which never happened before. It was definitely not worth it. The tv did not work except for only a few channels. There was no network channels available. The front desk worker was actually rude about it. Sad to say we will not only never stay there again but will no longer consider any Hampton hotels when there are so many other options. It was also disappointing that hotels.com confirmed that despite our booking on their website, the price is not guaranteed and the property can charge you whatever it wishes. A lot of disappointment.

Was disappointed at nearly every turn
The hotel is in an incredible location and we really enjoyed historic downtown Milwaukee. However, our room heater did not work and the mechanic never came in the three days we were there to fix it. We didn't have enough pillows or comforters for the beds and were only given extra blankets, no extra pillows. The pool was tiny and shut down for the entire time except the last couple hours of our stay due to "over use." but there were like 10 people there the whole time. Our first night was interrupted by a false fire alarm at 2am, which we all hung out in the lobby with the other guests until the all clear. The alarms never got fully cleared even by the time we left (flashing lights were still active, just no sound). The food was ok. The front desk was friendly enough. My husband and I got a skin reaction from the bedding: my face swelled up and his face was red from a rash. Oh and the beds were all doubles, not queens. Very uncomfortable sleeping as we were all doubled up. Honestly, the only reason we picked this downtown hotel over the other, higher rated ones, was for the pool for our kids. And that wasn't even an option for them until 7pm the night before we left. It was highly disappointing and while a lot of the complaints couldn't be helped, some of them could. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disappointed
I called to make reservations for my daughter and ask the front desk representative if they had a pool because it was her birthday and she was looking forward to a fun swim in the night at the hotel. However, I was lied to and told yes I booked the room and made reservations got to the hotel. The pool was down wasn’t working my room was very hot and stimulated I could not control the heat. The air conditioner did not work. I called the front desk several times before I was able to get assistance. When room service came, they accommodated me with two fans, however, I was very frustrating through the night being that the room was so stimulated. It was like hot air just being rotated not to mention that my daughter has a condition where she cannot be in a room where it’s too hot due to nosebleed’s however, I experience my daughter having a nosebleed I will not be back. The lounging area had not been cleaned tables weren’t cleaned. Overall the front desk representative second shift was very kind and tried her best to accommodate me although I was very upset and frustrated due to being told the pool was open. And my daughter wasn’t able to enjoy the pool for her birthday. I will not be back

Not as good as it used to be
Have stayed here before, but will probably not stay again. Check-in took about half an hour because they couldn't find the person in front of me a king room, which he reserved. Naturally, we didn't receive the king room we reserved either, but a double queen. Only one towel in the room and couldn't find someone to get a second towel, so we shared. The parking used to have in and out privledges, but it doesn't anymore. The lobby needed some tidying. It felt like the staff was trying to do their best, but we probably won't go back.

Good location to many downtown elements of Milwaukee. But the property itself was underwhelming (two quick examples: 2 of 3 treadmills weren’t working and the door from the parking deck to the hotel malfunctioned at least twice during our stay). The room is basic and will meet your needs if you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night, but if you’re wanting to relax and enjoy the hotel experience, this might not be the hotel for you.
