WORST HOTEL EVER! OPERATIONS MGR IS A SOCIOPATH
This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had staying in a hotel in my life. The director of operations Andre Desir is an absolute sociopath & a terror to deal with. I had just had surgery for the 4th time following a cancer diagnosis and was visiting my 86 year old father who had been in the hospital 5 times in the past 3 months. Due to my chest muscles being cut during my surgery I need the room to be warm so those muscles don't contract. In a 3 day span, I was changed rooms 4 times. 3 times the heater was BROKEN. The 3rd room, the heat worked but I was itching so intensely that I could not sleep and had to be transferred again after not getting any sleep the first two nights (into the 4th room with a broken heater). I told the woman at the front desk that the 3rd room smelled like wet dog and the cleaner that is used for pet odors. On the 3rd day of a 5 day planned stay, I informed the front desk I would be leaving because they simply couldn't get it right and I couldn't change rooms for a 5th time. What transpired after, as if I needed any MORE GRIEF, was instead of being responsible, the manager LIED to Hotels.com agents TWICE when I reported the issue and requested a refund.He demanded that I email him photos (time & date stamped) of the flea bites (bumps & bloody holes) which I had. & his response was that there was no "evidence" of fleas upon "inspection" & there will be no refund. Every agency imaginable will be contacted about this atrocity.
