The stay was decent. I would say remodeling the room with updated TVs, couch, patio furniture and bedding would be nice. Also, the bathroom could use a little more cleaning. Replacing the tissue box and cleaning of the bathroom floor. Our room had areas where the ceiling was peeling, so having maintenance look into that would be helpful. Overall, it was an okay place to get away for our baby moon.

We enjoy your resort so much we come once a month now. Use to stay at Blockade but you guys are getting our money and one time of the main reasons is your Dining area/ restaurant. Your staff there are some awesome people. Kind, courteous and helpful. One person that stands out is Kinsey in the restaurant. She is so sweet and kind and makes wonderful drinks. She has a drink called Tequila Sunrise that is awesome! She recognizes us when we come for breakfast and she has beautiful energy. Her name is Kenzie or Kinsey. Dark hair and beautiful ink. Please acknowledge her on our behalf. We definitely coming back because of her. I’d like to also mention the checkin staff. Kathy and Ora. Wonderful smiles and inviting faces. My room was beautiful to me, however my room wasn’t clean to well, there was a pair of kids shorts with underwear on the floor under the curtain by the deck.. outside of that I loved it, I do wish the bar stayed open like the average bars at least till 1am

This resort hotel was beautiful. It's right on the beach and was a wonderful stay. The pools were nice, clean and fun for the kids. The rooms were comfortable and was plenty if room for 4 people. They were accomodating to any needs we had.

Love this hotel I stay often even after my son graduated from UNCW. I have NEVER been able to check in @ 4 and this trip was no different. But this time I was checked into a room that was already assigned to a family!! Yep walked in I was stunned they were stunned we compared check in & yep checked into same room. Was told wrong number was written on my key envelope um but why did keys work then. I don’t want to use names I worked retail/hotels all my life and I’m more than under standing things happen. Manager needs to address checkin at this hotel. Staff was Amazing from Bar/restaurant/shuttle drivers Emma was fabulous making my friend & I custom request drinks…great family hotel!
