"Fantastic staff and beautiful hotel "

"Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "Such a cool place to stay. Not having anyone to talk to was a little weird and the elevator is super slow but the room was incredible. I made some friends at the restaurant/bar right across from this place and took a bus right by here to get to my next city. The train is close by too. 10/10 would recommend and plan to stay here again."

"The accommodation is beautifully located, surrounded by nature and offering plenty of peace and quiet. We especially appreciated the warm, family-like atmosphere during the delicious breakfast. The option for self-check-in was very convenient and allowed us to arrive late without any issues. It's the perfect base to explore Bilbao and the surrounding area while staying outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommended!"

"I enjoy small boutique hotels and this one is a charm. Everyone was friendly, the restaurant is not to be missed. The room was spacious, the towels and bed linen are very soft. The manager was wonderful with a quick check in and helping me figure out how to make the coffee machine work, (coffee is free). I will definitely stay here again. "
