"Perfect place to stay with family/children. The water park is amazing. Plenty of things for kids to do; mini golf, go karts, large arcade! Not many places to eat and when we stayed they only had two elevators working which was a nightmare going to and from our rooms! Hopefully the hotel has fixed this problem because it’s a huge safety issue. Security wasn’t telling anyone where the stairs were but luckily one was nice to show me a short cut. I would only stay there again if the elevators were fixed and with my family, not as a romantic getaway! "

"Checked in, bathroom floor had black hairs everywhere. I took a shower, water was not hot and the water backed up in the drain so I was standing in soap scum. I asked house keeping to clean the room and finally by the 3rd time, they cleaned the room. There was a volleyball tournament and cheerleading competition. Teenagers were running around and causing loud noise. I called security twice and they finally addressed it. I would not go back to this hotel."
"My fiancée and I planned a nice weekend in Atlantic City, but our stay at Bally’s was extremely disappointing. When I booked the hotel, I was told it had recently been renovated and the photos online looked nice, so we were excited for the trip. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. We arrived around noon and, since check-in wasn’t until 3 p.m., I paid an early check-in fee. The check-in staff seemed confused about why we were there early. The elevator felt old and rickety, and when we stepped off, the hallway made it clear the hotel had not been updated in decades. The carpet was stained and worn, and the entire floor smelled strongly of marijuana despite no-smoking signs. When we entered our room, we immediately noticed bugs in the bed. We took a picture and went straight back to the front desk. The staff member was rude and dismissive, simply giving us another room without addressing the issue. The second room was not much better. The floors were old and dirty, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, and the walls were permanently stained yellow. We were also only given one working key. I returned to the front desk and even offered to pay for an upgrade, but was told no rooms were available. Aside from a brief apology, nothing was done to improve the situation. At checkout, when I mentioned our experience again, the employee questioned why we hadn’t done more as customers to resolve the problems. AVOID at all cost!"
