The property was as expected as we’ve been here before. The staff were friendly, helpful and considerate.
Our only concern was the milk delivery truck which parked up outside our room at 2 30am, followed by 10 minutes of crashing and banging as the truck was unloaded/ loaded. I actually had to get out of bed to check that there wasn’t some sort of break in occurring. The noise meant we were both fully awakened. The delivery could have been done with a lot more care.

I would recommend this hotel, it was quiet, clean and warm. We had a lovely time here and the bed was very comfy, although I would have expected a kingsize bed. Sadly, there was maintenance required to the bathroom ceiling, it looks like here had been a leak from the bathroom above.. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the whole day.

This lovely hotel has a lot of charm. The bedroom (Room 4) was quite large, very quiet and the bed very comfortable; with a large ensuite and good shower. Staff lovely. Took evening meal in the restaurant - excellent. Breakfast was good, except I have tasted better coffee! Overall though it was excellent place to stay and would not hesistate to come back.

First stop on our road trip
This hotel ticked all the boxes. Beautiful room, fabulous food, gorgeous gardens and lovely staff. And all right in the heart of Burns country within walking distance to most of the attractions.

10/10. Zero complaints
Went to the wedding for Fiona and Sam Thorne, spent the night in room 3 and have no complaints. The room was tidy, the service was impeccable, the breakfast delicious and the staff were incredibly polite and patient to put up with me and my drunken friends. Would definitely stay here again.

Evening meal service a little slow, food excellent, good breakfast. Only negative was lack of parking close to hotel. If we had been part of a wedding party there was parking across the road but as we were not with the wedding party we had to park further away - seemed a little unfair seeing as we were paying guests just like the wedding party?
