Great stay. As described, except you need to park down the street a little bit. The beach isn’t really in an area great for swimming but a calmer, cleaner beach is just a 15 minute walk away.

Being right between the beach & the boardwalk was fantastic. Being next to the bar that played live music until 3:30 am was not good for trying to sleep. The room was spacious but very rustic. No water pressure in the shower.

Location location location 😀 I was a little nervous about the location of the hotel given it was right next to some of the popular bars in town. The location was excellent and not noisy. The staff were awesome and helped any way they could. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Placencia

Cute cabanas on the beach.
The location of the cabanas was perfect. It was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and tourists' shops. They were well appointed for cooking and eating. The beds and pillows weren't comfortable and the fans and AC unit were noisy. The units themselves were not very secure, although a small safe was available for valuables.

Cabin was directly on beach with fantastic view. Receptionist Shelley was very pleasant, welcoming & professional. There was a front porch with a hammock which was thoroughly enjoyable. There was a restaurant/ bar next door which was very noisy until late on the Saturday night we were there

Shelly and Renita are awesome hosts. The cabins are right on the water, in the heart of Placencia. You're always next door to all the action at two of the busiest bar/restaurants. But the windows are soundproof enough that you can shut it out. Great to just lie in your hammock and watch the world go on without you. Great space.

If your looking for a cheaper place to stay right on the water- this is a great option. A lot of action and dining right around hotel. The beds were very uncomfortable- my only real complaint. It is rustic!
