Clean, nice location but lacking service
It was pouring rain when we arrived (we're a family with a little child) but no one offered to help us unpack our car to get our luggages. Their big elevator wasnt working that day and while the front desk lady who was very nice offered to call someone to help, the guy who showed up just basically advised us that we have to walk down the stairs with all our luggages to get to the other building where our room was located. He didnt help. The hotel itself was very nice and location very convenient. It was clean and decently sized for a South Beach hotel. On our first day, our room wasnt cleaned upon our return from our Everglades tour. By the time the cleaning lady arrived, we were already in our room so we just asked for extra towels. It was a "party hotel" so if you can't sleep with loud music, then dont come to this hotel. Overall, it's a good hotel but service is a little lacking and the music from the restaurant is very loud.

Always had good success with accommodations in South Beach and the Fairwind didn't disappoint. Unsure why the rating is only very good as it should be excellent!

Very dissapointed the superior quenn room was tiny .the music on a weekend went on till 3am and then the crowds who were partying made noise for ankther hour .checked out day early of our 2 night stay

L’emplacement est parfait
Très bien situé. Prêt de la plage et d’Ocean drive. La piscine sur le toit est agréable. Secteur bruyant (musique et nightlife) mais c’est ce que nous voulions. Le resto Sola et le bar de la piscine ne sont pas reliés à l’hôtel. Le prix moyen d’un verre est de 16$ US. Conseil ne pas déjeuner au Sola. 70$ US pour deux déjeuner et un bouteille d’eau à 7$ US car ils ne fournissent pas de verre d’eau. Il y a plein de petit resto pas cher sur Washington avenue…Sinon au bar merci à Bryan qui s’est très bien occupé de nous.

Checked-in and Checked-out all in 30 minutes.
I was extremely disappointed. Booked for a night of relaxing with a friend to get away from the busy mom life. The photos looked decent and the prince was reasonable so I booked. However, when we arrived, they didn't have but 3 spots for vallet parking. They expect you to keep circle the block until one comes open. We gave up and paid for street parking for a few hours. Went to check in and the placed smelled of hotel perfume and heavy pot. The pool area is VERY small and was gross and again people openly smoking weed. Smelt awful. Elevators were slow and the music was non-stop loud. We didn't stay 30 minutes before checking back out and leaving to find another hotel.

I was very disappointed in the front desk customer service. They were rude and didn't act like they had time for us. Our rooms was not cleaned correctly each day and sheets and we always had to ask for wash rags. The shower was not cleaned daily and the bedding didn't appear to be changed each day. I would NOT recommend this hotel.
