The Riad was beautiful and huge!! As a nice surprise we were the only guests the 2 nights that we were there so we had the place to ourselves. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. They arranged a half day tour for us with Abdul (aka Sammy) which we would highly recommend. It’s a shame our stay there wasn’t longer.

The Mayfez is a very charming Riad in the inner part of Fez. My wife and I enjoyed the beautiful property, which is very spacious and breathtaking upon entrance. Moreover, the staff is very friendly and professional as is Madame Dominique who has splendid taste in furniture, room products, room decorations, and the quality of miscellaneous furnishings. We had a beautiful suite which was very comfortable, had a breathtaking view of the sunrise from the attached Terrace, and included high end items in the bathroom (e.g., heated towel racks, soap bars normally found at Bloomingdales, etc.). Additionally, I really enjoyed the ease of coordination via the Mayfez - the Mayfez offered a comfortable and delicious dinner service, breakfast service, and even coordinated my train tickets to Casablanca, taxi pickup at the Fez airport, and a wonderful tour guide (and President of the Fez Association), Mr. Abdou Soussil. Overall, Mayfez represents a luxurious take on the Riads in Fez and I look forward to staying again in the near future.
