Beautiful old building. Out of season so the cafe Was closed. No staff on hand but everything was provided.

Authentic, and as it was early we had it to ourselves.

Noisy...little sound proofing. Street noise from cars and rowdy pedestrians. No staff on site. Light bulbs out in a couple of fixtures. Bathroom small. However, room was tastefully decorated and beverage selection good.

Disappointed there was no wifi but otherwise a good stay.

We spent one night at this B&B type hotel. It is right on Main Street in Shediac within walking distance to restaurants. It has a good size parking lot in the back but the driveway can be easily missed. There is a large grassy area with a gazebo and conversation pieces. The property does not have a front desk so it is punch code access. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite on the 2nd floor. It was incredibly clean and had modern decor/bedding unlike most B&B style hotels. When you walk in the door to the suite there was a little hallway that lead to the bedrooms. I was happy to have the 2 rooms as our daughter sleeps better in her own room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, it felt like I was sleeping in my own bed. I didn’t give this 5/5 because the a/c was a loud window unit and not central a/c. It was also only located in one of the rooms so it didn’t cool down the whole suite. We had our 9 month old in the second bedroom so we couldn’t have the window a/c on as we wouldn’t hear her. Since it was cooler at night, we were able to open all the windows. My other concern for this room was that it didn’t have a deadbolt or chain lock on the main door to the suite like the other room(just a door handle lock). The stronger locks were on the doors leading to the bedrooms. While that would be okay if it was just adults, since I had a baby with me, I couldn’t exactly lock her in the separate room at night. I would definitely stay here again if I wasn’t traveling with kids.
