The inn was beautiful ! The grounds impeccable ! Breakfast on the porch was not only delicious but so relaxing. Woodstock is a lovely Vermont town and we would highly recommend The Blue Horse Inn. Jill and Tony couldn't have been nicer.
Incredibly clean. We stayed in the dog friendly room, which was fantastic. It has its own exit/entrance. The staff were capable and friendly. Breakfast was delicious.
The Blue Horse Inn was wonderful- the hosts were welcoming and accommodating, the inn was extremely clean and safe, and the breakfast was delicious. It was beautiful and I highly recommend staying there.
My husband and I have been to beautiful Woodstock many times and had never stayed at the Blue Horse Inn. We have found our new favorite place! What an amazing treat it was to stay in this stunningly renovated Inn with the most incredible hosts, Jill and Tony. The breakfast was divine and the pancakes and maple sausage are not to be missed. The BHI is beautiful, tranquil, and luxurious but not stuffy. It's just right in every way!
A gorgeously renovated, classic Vermont home perfectly positioned in delightful little Woodstock. The inn has a lovely homely feel with superb attention to detail. Breakfast is outstanding and the afternoon cookies are a real treat. But the outstanding stars here are the owners Jill and Tony, whose warmth and care for their guests is second to none. Highly recommended.
It is clear and The Blue Horse Inn is a true passion project for Jill and Tony our hosts for a one night stay. Jill called to make sure I could get to the hotel and find parking before we arrived, she greeted us and gave us a tour of the building then graciously upgraded our room. The Inn itself is a beautifully restored colonial type building that was perfect for a romantic evening before meeting our friends to ski Killington. Jill gave us dinner recommendations and told us where to go in town. We had a restful night and then the cherry on top was the breakfast the next morning. Pictures do no do justice to our experience. I really recommend this spot - Jill and Tony were the consummate hosts and the property was beautiful.
Beautifully restored facility. What a B&B should be. Breakfast was a treat. Also a great location.
I would strongly recommend The Blue Horse Inn to everyone. It’s a beautiful restored Inn, designed with impeccable taste. The service was outstanding, and the breakfasts were delicious! It is in walking distance to town, with many boutiques and restaurants.
