It was a great hotel and we even got an upgraded room, the room window points directly at the square. Only things to complain are that there aren't enough seating in the restaurant and theres some dust in the room still after cleaning

Hotel was pretty standard.It was very clean and you could feel they took extra precautions because of the COVID...the view at the cathedral is epic so it was worth of paying extra for it. the only downside were people in front of the hotel who jumped infront of us as soon as we exited the car at the parking,who started offering prostitutes or “anything else we needed” I understand they don’t have anything to do with the hotel,but they were there every day all day and were pretty relaxed there...and knowing and seeing that obviously hotel doesn’t do anything about it...maybe it’s just a common thing in Bulgaria but definitely not pleasant.

Amazing
Amazing is an easy word to use, but in this case fully appropriate. We arrived in a corona-virus-hit Sofia having had a difficult passage through the airport. The staff at the Intercontinental were amazing. Their Club Lounge was shut, so upgraded us to a junior suite and quickly delivered a trolley (literally) of welcome foodie treats and fruit. Our room service breakfast was similarly spectacular. This truly is a special place.
