Sonder - SoWa

The apartment was big and comfortable. Check in and check out was easy, no trouble for me at all. Key was in a lock box right outside the door, keypad opens it easily. There were 3 bedrooms (1 main level, 2 bottom level with single bathroom). Good beds and comfortable enough, liked the big kitchen with all the necessities, big couch and dining area. Some negatives: place looks sterile (some paint/paintings would help a lot), construction all around (very noisy in the mornings, I had to switch rooms), no TV in any bedroom, bathroom is boring (needs remodel and higher pressure shower please), steep stairs (2 very steep stairwells, would not feel comfortable if my elderly stays here). Overall if I had a big party I would stay here again, it was comfortable enough with plenty of room.

Lost my conformation

We stayed in this two bedrooms apartment. The floor is plain concrete and dirty when we arrived (we walked barefooted in the apartment) so we mopped it ourselves. Balcony outside of second floor bedroom is so dirty and had people throwed garbage on it (balcony is not accessible and can be seen only from window). A window curtain on second floor window is broken and fell off, made us hard to sleep. Both bedrooms don't have floor-to-ceiling partition/wall, second bedroom even has no door. However, other questions and issues handled properly when we contacted Sonder through SMS except the curtain stayed broken (not fixed) for the entire 3 nights of our stay.

The photographer for the pictures of this place was very talented. They really weren't misleading, but somehow they cast it in the very best possible light. Nothing was misrepresented, it just wasn't quite as luxurious as I thought it was going to be from the pictures. That being said, the place was was completely adequate. Nothing wrong with it. It was clean and comfortable, just felt more industrial (cement floors, and some touchups needed in various places) than luxurious. I would stay there again. It was convenient and easy.
