Not Impressed
Hotel was okay but the service was slow especially at Breakfast where we waited so long over 1 hour,we thought it was because it was being cooked to order and when it finally came it appeared to be what was left black pudding would have broken your teeth, sausages un edible as were other items on the plate and it wasn't hot .

Overnight stop on way to ferry.
The hotel was a little dated. The room we had was very large and comfortable. The restaurant food was ok but the tables were sticky - not cleaned down properly. There was a small tour group staying but the staff managed to provide good service in the restaurant. Close to the ferry port to Islay so a very transient overnight stop.

The grey gull hotel
Very uncomfortable bed, never slept, the management need to buy new beds, toilet seat was broken, stairs in hotel i felt were unsafe, definitely wouldn't recommend for the money we spent for one night, which is a shame as staff we lovely and helpful.

One of the worst hotels I stayed in. We were missing a towel. I have asked for one. They left the clean towels on the dirty floor, in front of our door
