Incredible location and great value for money
Brilliant location - within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Hotel was clean and room was as expected, not a lot of space - but enough room to stand which is great for a capsule style hotel. The only downside was the mattress which was bumpy and a little uncomfortable.

Clean but Dim
I had a good stay overall, however some minor things were different to what I’d expected. PROS - overall the rooms, bathrooms & common areas were very clean. - free breakfast included - CONS The photos online had the rooms seeming very bright, but my room was quite dim. There are no lifts, so being 4 storeys, be aware of this if you have heavy luggage. The staff are happy to help carry it up if need be though. My room had a musty smell, but it was alleviated by switching off the air con. Would have benefited from a few more coat hangers and a more elevated storage options. very convenient location - close to popular food markets & restaurants, Metro station, transport. Walking distance to many tourist attractions & popular spots.

Pros: some of the staff are very helpful and eager to help; great location; snacks for breakfast are decent. Cons: AC is very strong (I slept in sweats while it was 85/90 degrees Fahrenheit outside); some of the rooms run VERY small (I could barely get in and close the door behind me); moldy/cracked ceiling in my room; the smell of cleaning solution is very strong.

Excellent Location and Highly Recommended
A really well-located budget hotel. All main sights within easy reach. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Felt very well looked after during my stay by both Gabriel who looks after housekeeping and the guy on reception whose name I cannot recall. Basically breakfast provided which bus perfectly adequate while simple snacks and tea/coffee/filtered water available on tap. Rooms are cabin style, tiny and definitely worth opting for a deluxe cabin which may be slightly more expensive but the extra space is worth it. Alot of stairs if you have a heavy case like I did hyt again the staff were more than willing to help me out. If u are looking for cheap and cheerful accommodation for a few nights in Singapore Eighteen by Three is perfect!

Fantastic place for all types of travel
Excellent hotel with well kept cabin rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the room had decent air conditioning. Free breakfast, water, tea, coffee and snacks. Location is great - MRT stations are within 5 mins walking distance. Airport is 25 mins away on MRT.

Tiny rooms, great location, lovely service
Tiny rooms, great location, lovely service. Would recommend based on value and location Second stay here, perfect for a short stay. No windows. Bathrooms aren’t as clean as they could be. Breakfast is only white bread and boiled eggs, no milk, no plain tea or coffee, just satchets of premixed coffee, creamer, sugar. I don’t eat sugar so couldn’t have any coffee

A Patronising FO staff
unhelpful & arrogant front office staff. He did not even bother to listen to requests. His attitude was very patronising which in return I decided to cancel the booking and stay in another hotel nearby. I am still waiting for the refund which he said he had already email for action? So I am not sure who should I believe?

Need improvement
Stayed here for one night. Room (bed and pillow) are comfortable. But not recommend if you have big luggage. The hotel signage is not obvious whereby you may overlooked and quite a tricky distance from Teluk Ayer MRT. Breakfast served for very basic and simple food but it has all you need such as eggs, coffee, sausages and breads.

Super clean, but 4x4m was too small even for 2 day
Location excellent, staff lovely, Do not book breakfast, it was white bread & jam and pre made satchets coffee & creamer, I booked breakfast but didn’t use it. I booked breakfast and didn’t use it. Great links to the trains (about 5 mins walk) and airport around 1 hour away, very easy to get to and I had lots of luggage. Room is the smallest I’ve ever seen. I didn’t realise it had a ladder and that was very awkward to use (cue bruise on my back from bumping into the door handle while going down the escalator). No rowdy guests at night, plenty of bathrooms and showers. Would I stay here again, probably not due to the size and no window, but location was excellent and overall it was great value for money
