Standard capsule hotel in convenient location
We wanted to try a capsule hotel and this one had good reviews and was conveniently near haneda airport. You get given everything you need eg PJs, toothbrush and towel. Men and women are completely segregated and the common area on the ground floor is not very comfy, so dobt plan to spend a lit of time there. We both basically checked in, showered and went to bed. The capsule was comfprtable and definitely big enough, but it was very warm especially in polyester pjs! Also you can hear everyone around you. My area was pretty quiet buf my boyfriend said he got woken up by very loud snoring. I don't think it would work for light sleepers

Great simple stay for a night!
We stayed here before flying out of Haneda airport and loved it! Very cool experience getting to stay in a pod. They provide blankets, towels, slippers, PJ's, a toothbrush, and shower supplies! The pods are pretty spacious, but you are only separated by a pull-down shade by your feet, so some light comes through the cracks, and you can hear others on your floor if they are noisy or their alarms go off. Males and females are completely separated, with only the main floor as the common area so be advised of that if traveling as a couple. They also make you check out at 10 every day and back in at 1, even if you are staying for consecutive days, so you have to pack your bags and leave them in the lobby during that time... a bit inconvenient but not terrible. All in all, this was a fun experience for a short stay!

For the minimalists
Fast check-in, spacey and clean capsule. Minimal amenities so double check what you need or you may have to pay extra. Convenient location as well. If you are looking for a place to simply crash the night, very economical!

Excellent
I picked this place because I had a 12 hour layover at Haneda Airport, and I needed a place to sleep nearby that wasn’t too expensive. This place was perfect. It had a 24 hour service desk, so I was able to check in after midnight. They provided slippers, pajamas, toothbrushes, and towels. They have a locker for you to put your things, and a great shower vicinity. Everything was clean and comfortable. I didn’t stay long but I could tell the location was great for an extended stay. It was right in the middle of a street filled with restaurants and little shops, and it was very close to the train station. I believe it is an excellent place to stay at a great price.

Fire alarm went off early in the morning
it should've been a 8 to 9 rating if it is no for the fire alarm going off at around 5 o'clock in the morning for 20 minutes. In the beginning, I thought it could be a false alarm and tried to wait and see. when the sounds of steps got intense, this could indicate something serious, particularly the Kyoani fire not a remote memory. People all tried to get down from the fire escape, stair flights outside of the building but we all stuck as I only could get to the 4th floor. After about 10 minutes, a lady came to explain something in Japanese (most of people staying there are Japanese and this early in the morning probably no multi-language staff was available). I managed to walked down to the ground floor from the fire escape and realized why we could not get down further as the door on the ground floor was LOCKED!! Therefore, those people managed to get out had to go through the bars under the handrail or jump from the space about. Amazingly, no one complained but orderly checked out. I did the same, although it was much earlier than my plan for my Shinkensen to Aomori for Nebuta matsuri. when I walked my way to the JR Kamata station, I found that in fact the area is a bit like red light district as there were many call girls (or more like call ladies looking at their ages) trying to find customers from the early risers....

Nine Hours
Pretty much all the nine hours locations are great, comfortable, great amenities and consistent. This one was one of the nicer ones, weird layout because I guess according to a YouTube video they had to make use of a very specific, small space that could only work as a capsule hotel.
