We stayed for one night and we liked all about this place -- a remodeled and nicely furnished room, a spacious bathroom with generous towels, and very friendly hosts. The bed was super comfy, and my husband finally slept "like home" for the first time after a few days on the road. Our hosts managed to prepare a very tasty dinner for us and two other couples which was highly appreciated considering that were were super hungry and all restaurants were closed for the season in that part of France in mid-October. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and plenty.

Charming and Tranquil. A lovely friendly place.
A warm, comfortable and quiet little hotel. Our room was beautifully appointed with a tons of tea and coffee in the room and a large kettle with big china cups. We dined in the restaurant one evening - the magret de canard risotto is to die for and I daren't mention the camembert au four starter to my dietician. Each morning the breakfast table offers a wide choice, including fresh fruit and eggs boiled exactly as you want them. To sum La Petite Auberge in one word: Charming ! Now the special points: Being greeted with a fresh cup of tea when you arrive is a great little extra. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Carennac is a lovely village. The Auberge has its own parking spaces next to car park P1 (50 metres) And lastly, we weren't allowed to take the beautiful poodle "Mr Darcey" home with us so we just had to settle for the joy of his company while we were there. Elderly and quiet, he oozes affection. A real plus for dog lovers - but he knows his place. We will be back for another stay - that's a promise!

Nice French Auberge with great hosts.
We stayed for 5 nights in mid September. Our room was large as was the bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate with great coffee. Our hosts Gerry and Gerard were extremely friendly and accommodating, and provided us with great info on the locality along with some lovely evening meals on the nights we ate in. It was extremely hot for mid September but a fan was provided to help cool the room down at night. All in all a very pleasant stay and would recommend.

Bnb great value
Very cute room with all the extra touches to feel at home. Also super quiet at night. The hostess is very professional and precise. This compares very well to a Bnb I used in Bordeaux for twice the price. Note that you need to decide your breakfast time in advance and it’s kind of decided for you what and how much. Also people might be walking right outside your room early morning, and hallway is dark at night. No tourist info.
