Great location not impressed with the room
We stayed in a separate building away from the main building which is fine but the people upstairs where loud from 11pm to 3am. The location downtown was great but for the money I paid, I was not that impressed. That room should be discounted.

Walkable Location
Overall the room was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe historic and charming. Parking was complicated and a PITA. You have to buy a permit and then you may or may not find a parking space nearby. You may need to move your car to another difficult to find space if it is parked on street that will be swept that night. The room was located up two very tall narrow staircases that were probably typical for the 1853 vintage of the house. But unless you are young, you may find the climb a chore. The flow of hot water to the room was inconsistent.

Beautiful, modern B&B
This is an excellent, modern (not traditional) B&B. More like a hotel with a shared dining experience. There is a concierge to check you in & tour. Breakfast is served in shifts, so you must choose the time and food choices the night before. The staff is extremely accommodating regarding dietary needs and food allergies. I am gluten free/celiac and my husband is vegetarian. The chef came out to speak with us, was very attentive, and it was delicious. There are great restaurants, parks, and museums within walking distance and the historic architecture all around is fantastic. There are a couple of charming cats who roam freely inside & out, so those with allergies should be aware. One jumped into my lap at breakfast and made herself at home. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great bed and was on the 3rd floor and I believe there are 4, so there are stairs to climb. I don't know if there is an elevator, so those with issues climbing stairs should find out. The fireplace in the room is a non-working fireplace and just for show. It is street parking, which the city doesn't charge for on weekends, but you pay a dollar an hour on weekdays. Overall a fantastic experience and we would have loved to stay longer. We will definitely return.
