Exeter Hotel

We had a great stay here. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a cold buffet, it was more than adequate and was a really nice atmosphere. The rooms were a nice size and the beds very comfortable. The cafe downstairs also serve the most amazing donuts.

Our experience at Exeter was really nice. The staff was accommodating and helpful when we had questions. The location was close to the city center and to transportation. I would stay here again if ever in Iceland.

Very nice hotel, would definitely stay again. Only criticism would be that hotel was trying too hard to be chic. On the first morning there was a great pot of coffee and hot water for tea in the breakfast area - marvellous. The second and susequent mornings it had been replaced by a fancy espresso pod machine that noone could work and there was always a huge queue to get coffee. Everyone was baffled and wondered why the change. Stick with what works !

Friendly helpful Staff. We arrived at 8:00am from the airport. Check in is not until 14:00. They made ever effort to accommodate us. Making sure we had parking in the garage. We were in our room by 10:00am! Meanwhile we sat in the DEIG workshop bakery which is in the lobby and had breakfast. It was a very nice experience the whole stay.

We enjoyed the stay the hotel is very central and good for visiting most of the city. The harbour area across the road we would recommend as it has a number of restuarants and business which are worth a visit. The hotel is clean, very tidy and tasteful. the Le Kock Burgers are worth a visit and very popular with locals and tourists. the Pastries are great but epxensive. Tip wait till after 5pm and if any left you get two for one :) But overall the hotel was trendy, modern and also relaxing.

Staff was very helpful and super friendly!! The grounds were clean.

I booked the Harper view apartment with balcony. If it was not so cold, I will stay outside the apartment since the view from the balcony is amazing. The stuff are friendly, and my wife and I are happy. One more thing that I think it will be nice if the hotel add to the breakfast, which is scrambled eggs . Overall, it is a wonderful experience to stay with Exeter Hotel. Special thanks to the people who are working hard for the good performance.
