Highly recommend! The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had the city view but it was quiet. We did not opt in for the breakfast but they provided it for us as complementary. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating! The location is a plus! The sites are all close by!

Good location
Booked a Courtyard View room but when we checked in they said they had upgraded us. In fact we were put in a room that looked onto a wall and alleyway and was not bigger. When I complained I was told I had booked an internal room and only some had a courtyard view. I told them that if it is described as a courtyard view room it should have a courtyard view. They refused to change the room. Otherwise the hotel has a good location in the centre. There were free soft drinks and water in the fridge. Room was small but clean. There was no iron/ironing board. Nice bar/lounge area where they had live music Sat and Sun nights. Roads either side of the hotel were closed so taxi had to drop off and pick up further away.

Enjoyed a fantastic stay at Hotel da Baixa. Could not recommend it more! Location is fantastic, staff are very friendly and helpful and there are lots of added extras that make your stay that bit more comfortable.
