Amed Beach Villa

From the moment we checked in to Amed Beach Villa, we felt at peace. The staff are wonderful - friendly, helpful, genuine. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious and THAT VIEW! The breakfasts - brought to your balcony - were delicious and filling. Although the beach is not a lovely white-sand beauty, the snorkelling right out the front makes up for it - amazing! There was only one small thing that could be improved on - the water pressure is almost non-existent. But our love for the place made it bearable! I could not recommend Amed Beach Villa enough (although I kind of want to keep it to ourselves!). The wonderful staff really are the cherry on top. We will return!!

Love this place! Just be aware that the corner twin room called Panorama 3, does not actually have a panoramic view. However the other 4 rooms are fantastic and we plan to come back and experience lovely Amed from one of the better rooms very soon. Wonderful people, excellent area, and great property.

Great stay. Owners are very nice and the staff was wonderful. Good location, best AC I've found on the island.

In a central area of Amed so you can walk to town lots of restaurants or to the bay for more restaurants and snorkeling there. Snorkelling in front of the hotel is outstanding. Enter in front of the hotel you can go out and turn right huge coral area. Beautiful furniture and art. Bottom rooms have not much privacy so if that's important to you stick to the upstairs also don't have a fridge or a kettle which at this price point seems not right. Lots of channels on the TV which is nice. TV in weird spot I don't know why they don't mount them lower. Nice beach towels. Bathrooms gorgeous. Mattresses are OK but pillows need improving desperately. Accent pillows are great but sleeping pillows are terrible. Some noise from the street and the ocean room also gets noise from the restaurant next door until about 9pm so if you like to have a quiet early evening pick another room. Very nice ascetic, pool is small but gets deep I liked it. So clean and they invested a lot in beautiful furniture and art. There is a rooftop deck that is outstanding great views and at night go up to look at the stars.

This is an amazing gem in paradise. Amed is a slower pace and less busy than others places we visited in Bali. We loved it. Wish we had stayed there our whole time in Bali. The owners are great people. The room, villa and pool are beautiful and impeccably clean, the service by the Balinese staff is kind and complete, the view beyond words. Had a great massage right at the villa for very cheap. Breakfast was cooked by the staff, fresh at our request and was very good. Those Balinese pancakes are so yummy!!!! Will come here again if ever in Amed. Only recommendations are 4 pillows in rooms instead of 2, little better snorkeling equipment, and option for beach chairs for the beach. These were small inconveniences compared to our amazing stay!!!! Thanks for making our stay in Amed so great!!!!
