I had booked and confirmed but when I showed up, they told me they had overbooked. They sent me up the road to one of their sister Holiday Inn Express facilities. I always stay at Townplace because of the kitchen. Holiday Inn was much more run down and not someplace I would’ve ever have booked at for a stay.

It was my first time in Montgomery, I'm not fluent in the language, the hotel is very comfortable and the facilities are very pleasant. Some employees don't have much patience with those who have difficulties with English, but that's ok.

Great room, blah breakfast
Comfortable and clean hotel with lots of amenities in the room like a full fridge, microwave, etc. Nice little office area to use as a desk and still plenty of room in the main room. Overall, great for one night stay passing through. Only thing I would change/ request could be better is the breakfast. The bread items were stale, the small milk cartons were past their due date, and there wasn't much variety. If fresher items were served and milks/yogurts were fresher and not close to or past the due date, that would help this place a lot.
