Beautiful and relaxing
Beautiful place - seems new. Beds are comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding but super crowded at 8:30. The bath on the 16th floor is soooo nice. I get the feeling this hotel is always crowded; we stayed on a Sunday night but it felt like a Saturday night there! The lighting in the room is pretty low; nice for the mood but I couldn’t see too well to apply makeup!! The ladies bath upstairs has good lighting though. The surrounding area doesn’t have a lot to do other than lots of cute Japanese restaurants. This hotel is very recommended!

Great hotel
Lovely location with plenty of places nearby for drinks and food. Can’t recommend enough with those handy transport links.

Fabulous, modern, beautiful views, great, quiet location within a very short walk of Gotanda station. An a amazing choice for anyone looking for a top notch Tokyo hotel at a fraction of the cost. The only reason I can imagine it's so affordable is that Gotanda is a quieter Tokyo neighborhood. That being said, it's only about 10 minutes from Shinjuku on the Yamanote line and 15 or 20 from Tokyo station... AND, it's in an area famous for amazing dining- particularly fabulous Sake bars. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good 6.0
Over-rated and disappointing
I booked this hotel based on Guest reviews, and have to say that I was disappointed. The photos look great, but in reality you'll turn up, see the impressive looking reception on level 15 and then be given your keys to a small room around 10 floors below, with no view and no space. Then, you'll think "Great, there's a spa on the top floor", but then realise that because you have a tattoo you can't go into the Spa. Now I respect culture (albeit I disagree with it), but I draw the line at an international guest hotel banning someone from a facility based on their own skin. Of course, they were happy to charge me full price for the room and not offer any kind of discount for the fact I was unable to use a key facility of the hotel. Tattoo's were legalised in Japan in 1948, it's now 2020 - time to modernise.

Fair 4.0
Service is minimal. Breakfast quality is not as good as many other hotels despite the high price. What I didn’t like most was odor in the bathroom. It smelled bad most likely from lack of cleaning. Requested for sanitation directly to the cleaning staff but didn’t improve.
