This was our second time in costa rica, we love it there. We wanted to try a new hotel and la palapa was perfect. Small, cute right on the beach. Right in the middle of town. Perfect location. Beach hotel for sure. Will be back
We spent a very relaxing time at La Palapa, all the management and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was good, right on the beach with great views of the beautiful sunsets.
My son and I enjoyed our stay at this cute beach hotel so much that we extended our stay to a week. It's right on the beach, with beach chairs, hammocks and massage services looking out at the ocean. There are also lots of shops and restaurant close by. Rolando made us feel very much at home, helping is to book a shuttle and giving us tips. Thanks for a great stay!
The hotel was sold out and they moved us to another hotel
The room had a nice view of the ocean. Private beach chairs were nice. Beach towels were provided. The bed was very comfortable! Sunsets were beautiful and we saw Howler Monkeys in the trees right outside of our room. Private parking was great because there isn't much parking on the street. Close to lots of shops and restaurants. We've already booked again for our next stay!
Me gustó mucho el personal, son super amigables! Y las cabinas están frente al mar!
Me gusto que esta justo frente a la playa! el servicio al cliente y la atención excelentes tambien.
We went while the birders were still closed. The hotel staf was top of the line and the location is perfect. I recommend it to all.
I have been to Costa Rica previously and I have eaten at the restaurant in this hotel I cannot say anything bad about it even though I was not able to stay there it’s a lovely location I’m sure it would be wonderful and that’s the reason why we chose it in the first place. Unfortunately Covid shut Costa Rica down For another month and we were told at the last minute that our flight had been canceled. I was told that we were going to eat the cost for the two rooms we booked because we did not cancel in their time limit but how could we we had no way to get there and their country is closed. I reached out directly to the hotel and tried to reason with them and I was told by Rolando the man in charge there that he would hold a credit for the 2 rooms we booked for us in the future but we really would like to be reimbursed but we’ll take what we can get at this point. I don’t think it was fair though since there was no possible way we would be able to even get there since their country is closed.
Excellent communication with Rolando, the property manager.
