More like a strict camp rather than a holiday hote
It's like a Ryokan experience, so not really for me, neither for my Japanese partner... Breakfast can only be had very early in the morning, you can choose 7 or 8am (they banged our door at 8:03am when we weren't at the breakfast table yet). The onsen hot springs can only be used until 23:00 with booking (and no extra towels provided there), so basically you need to plan your entire trip around the hotel schedule. We hate this kind of attitude. Futons will be put out by the staff, but the noisy old Aircon will blow directly on you.

Fantastic getaway from the busy urban life. Just up the hill from the beach and dock, nestled between a couple other hotels easily within walking distance to everything. The hotel was a very traditional style Ryokan with many different Onsen options. The food was fantastic and offered great views no matter where you sat. From the room views to the Onsen views, it was all perfect.
