We had booked the cottages which are managed by the Comfort Suites next door. Unfortunately Expedia neglected to update the site to reflect the major construction work being performed at the cottages. When we arrived we were greeted by a long line of heavy equipment and workers digging trenches. Not the idyllic weekday retreat on the water as advertised. To be fair the Hotels website had updates but we had booked via expedia and were not aware that the cottages were managed by the Hotel next door. The hotel manager did a great job calming me down and set us up in the condos which are on site as well. The condo was comfortable if a bit sterile but in fairness, we would have booked elsewhere if made aware of the construction. Beware of offseason, as nearly no business had updated operating hours and we discovered that nearly every restaurant or seafood market was closed.

The villa has beautiful views, we enjoyed watching the sunset, inside is big enough for a family of 4, the parking is a plus but the shower needs more cleaning and there are no mirrors in the rooms Must be a good idea to install some mirrors in the room, but overall it’s great place to stay

The Cottage was absolutely Gorgeous. Very well decorated, and spacious. This has to be the worst Mattress that I have ever slept on (mint cottage). My husband and I would wake up during the night with hips, shoulders or back hurting. The mattress definitely needs to be replced. We enjoyed our trip to the island and seeing the wild horses.
