The property is brand new, was built in 2017, and the cleanliness was perfect. The room that we stay was with an air bath with half board, and the location was far from the main building, which made the elderly parents tired, but apart from that, their stay on the property was excellent, with a good buffet-style dinner and breakfast. We didn't use it because we drove in our car, but a shuttle bus was available, and it looked convenient for people who use public transportation.

We loved this place that had an amazing view of Lake Ashi and the surrounding mountains. The food was of very high standard and it was a treat to have an onsen tub on the terrace! Togendai, which is a few minutes walk, is a station for bus, boat and ropeway and is convenient to explore the area. The hotel’s shuttle bus from Odawara station was useful too.

What a treat!
Service was so warm and hospitable. We really enjoyed truly relaxing by changing into local comfy attire, which made us feel welcome. The dinner was super yummy and although we had a private outdoor bath, the onsen was perfect. Bonus, located just across the street from the sky gondola and lake pirate ship. Definitely looking forward to returning. Such a gem!
