Very Good 8.0
Great stay with only very minor issues
Generally it was a great day. The hallways and rooms we're very stylish and the location is great. Most of the staff was very friendly except for one Bell man. The AC and heating fan was a bit loud. Toilet paper and tissues were a bit thin. The water pressure in the sink was low but water pressure in the shower was great. I would definitely stay here again. Most of the staff were super nice.

Location is excellent and hotel facilities are good. Only challenge was that the hotel would not accept cash for the deposit at first. An extended discussion was necessary with the manager for them to accept cash instead of credit card.

Great experience!
My wife and I had a great time at the Darcy hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous, the hotel itself is updated, and the room was spacious and clean. Their bar staff was excellent, so we highly recommend getting drinks at the hotel bar. The Darcy is also in a great location, as it is within walking distance to most of the most popular tourist sights in the city, and a short walk away to the fun 14th street. Overall, we had an excellent experience staying here!

Will return
Initially, we were given a room which seemed to have been used by someone who smoked. The front desk, however, immediately changed the room without question. The hotel is very well put together and the staff are helpful and very friendly. The room was very well-decorated (could have done with an armchair) but quiet even though it faced the street. We would certainly stay there again.

Fantastic overall and great friendly staff!
I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels for service and friendliness that we have ever stayed in. The staff from front desk, to bar and restaurant, to housekeeping and bell staff were absolutely amazing. So friendly and so welcoming and nothing was a problem for them anytime we asked for assistance. The hotel itself was clean, well kept and really modern in decor. Housekeeping paid amazing attention to detail every day! Nothing was missed or overlooked in our room and we never had to ask for anything as it was all there. We also felt like it was one of the first hotels we have stayed in where you had your privacy too. The staff were engaging but non-intrusive in our stay. Overall we had a truly amazing stay. Our only downside was that the restaurant is completely dead - such a beautifully decorated restaurant but with no atmosphere or clientele and the drinks and food were very overpriced for what they are. I know it’s in transition from being a Michelin star that moved out of the hotel so I can understand the hotel is still working on bringing custom to the restaurant, it’s just lucky for guests that the hotel is so close to 14th Street - the hub of eateries. Thanks for a great service and lovely hotel, we will be back the next time we are in DC.
