Good room, good value for money.
Super cool hostel with awesome common spaces. Loved just chilling out by the pool or working in one of the designer chairs in the lobby. Only negative is that the dorm AC temp is permanently set, can't be changed.
Easy access to public transportation, close to the Mercado 28, which is the best place to go for souvenirs, and if you are hungry there is a park close by which has some really good food vendors
It’s not a bad a place if you’re looking for a party atmosphere. Quite frankly, not a good choice for me, I was on business and needed some quiet. Afternoon staff was very helpful, unlike the morning staff. The reason I booked it was because I needed the location. Very conveniently located, just not what I needed.
Stayed in the standard double room, what I like was it was literally across the road from ado, the room was clean, bed was comfy, aircon wasn't noisy. What I didn't like was the check in procedure, they took a picture of your passport, and gave you a fluro green wrist band to wear to get access to the place, there was no soap to wash your hands with and it was a bit noisy from the traffic. Overall I would stay again.
Great place to meet travelers. Lots of activities and ways to interact, great bar and food right outside! Great yoga classes available and plenty of options from dorms to super nice suites.
Nice private room with good-sized bed. The property is well-decorated and extremely clean with warm running water. Check-in was easy and it’s great that they have their reception open 24/7; only thing I’d improve was that I’d booked. Yoga class through the hostel online and the guy at reception seemed to know nothing about it! reception
The most bang for your buck is what you'll find here. You have a variety of room options to choose from to satisfy your accommodation needs. Great concept that offers a little bit of everything.
I booked a suite at selina it was really nice besides the fact it had a small odor of the walls not sure if it was the cement or what, besides that the room was spacious with a balcony a sit area and the fan and a.c was good. Another thing is the hot water didn’t work that well at all, it was hot so I didn’t really mind. It was only until I checked int a deluxe room for my remaining 2 days in Cancun that I realized the water pressure was betterin the room that cost less as well as it having very hot water unlike the suite room. In general the staff was nice and the trip was pleasurable I would probably stay here again.
The atmosphere at the hostel was not friendly, due to one of the clerks. Use of the lobby area for socialization was discouraged. The laundry of the sheets was closely monitored and guests were asked to pay for sheets. Not an easy place to meet others and socialize. The airport pick up was fantastic. Great hostel for a couple of nights.
