10/10 Exceptional

Suite stay
Gteat stay, as always. Only complaint was that it was SO HOT in pur room. It was 24°C when we got there and only one window was able to be opened the others were caulked shut. We would not have been able to stay in the room if we wouldn't have been able to open the window. Management was able to unlock the temperature control panel and get it down to 21°, but that was still much warmer than we usually sleep in. The Indian breakfast was so good. So much better than a standard English breakfast.

8/10 Very good

Great little place, with couple of let downs
Fab little hotel, let down by a couple of things when we stayed. The good: it is beautiful, room was huge, super comfortable and bathroom great. Location also brilliant - two minutes walk from tower bridge, and v close to London Bridge station for east travel to anywhere in London. Most of the staff also brilliant - and if you stay, please have the Indian breakfast… it is gorgeous! So why not a top score? Firstly, somebody had used the kettle as a tea pot and it was full of tea leaves - gross thing to do, but it shouldn’t have still been there when the next guests checked in. Secondly, we were woken up at nearly midnight by loud and repeated banging on the door and somebody shouting “security - open up”. When I opened the door, two staff members were outside - one of them said “no, that’s not them” and they left. I discovered the next day that this was because someone had left without paying their bar bill and the bar man thought they’d given our room number when they sat down. Not appreciated. Having said that, we are going back because everything else was lovely. Hopefully they were just aberrations and not signs of a bigger problem. We will see!

8/10 Very good

Great for the location
The hotel location was the best part of our stay, very close to tower Bridge, London Bridge area and close to tubes, buses and the Thames boats. I found the hotel to be good but value for money was lacking, small room with only a shower. Service was good although we did have a charge of £9 for some oat milk for coffee, though was removed. We also had some communication issues before arriving and on turn charged a lot more than when the booking was confirmed so this was already off-putting before arriving. To make up for it we were promised a room with a view of the was a little laughable as the view was a bit rubbish and literally just the tip you could see.

4/10 Fair

This is not a 5 star hotel.
This hotel has been a bad experience from when we checked in. I called on our way to the hotel & was promised a call back to answer the question I asked, but did not receive this call back. Once we got to our room it was on the top floor and really noisy with extraction dans, so we decided to go to the bar for a drink where the staff was more interested in watching a film / TV on their phone, so we took our drinks back to the room, before asking to change where we was offered a disabled bedroom & told they was no other rooms even though I could book another room online & when I questioned this I was told I could pay extra to change rooms which I was not going to do! This is not a 5 star hotel.
