Very strange 5* hotel
We always stay in 5* hotels all over the world, but this 5* for me is like a "baby hotel", meaning it's already a hotel, but a lot of functions do not work yet. There's no concierge, no doorman, no valet. For the breakfast room service people on the phone several times discussed between each other how to do that. There's parking available with EV-charger, but nobody's controlling the charging queue or if the space is taken by EV at all. Our of 3 nights we were able to charge only once. There's no-one who can move the charged car and put another one on the charger. Parking is self, rather tight for the bigger car, you will definitely struggle with Panamera or X5. On the floor, when you exit an elevator, hard cigarette smoke is felt. In the room, they use some very annoying aroma which you feel all the time and can not get fresh air as windows do not open. Windows, by the way, are with some net inside making view very blurry, adding that the windows are dirty from outside. This is very strange 5* hotel experience.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!!
This was the most FANTASTIC hotel we have visited in a long time!! We were treated first class from every employee we came in contact with! Miguel was first contact and took great care of us getting us into restaurants that were booked up for days!!! Carla and Sophie assisted us as well for great restaurants to visit that were within walking distance! And Ariel kept the evening drinks/cake coming every night when we got back to the hotel.

Great location
Friendly staff, for sure. Seemed very eager to help where they can. As a surprise they gave my wife and I a bottle of cava to help us enjoy the city and the hotel a bit. Nice little touch! The location of the hotel is great, very close to a lot of restaurants and shops. The only issue is where to go with such limited time there? The room was clean, spacious enough for the two of us and some shopping. Our only comments would be the need for a bedside table closest to the door, at least some USB ports and some better lift controls. The room provided one international adaptor, but we really could've done with some USB ports to charge our phones. The lifts only had one button on the outside, whether you are going up or down. There were no closing the door buttons on the inside, you just have to wait for the doors to close on their own. Overall, liked the hotel, liked the location and liked the service.

The hotel is very well located and has a particularly friendly staff serving breakfast. However, it was frustrating to not only not get the room upgrade, but on the last day, when asking for a late check-out, they wanted to charge us 50 euros for staying two extra hours. Commercially, for a customer who didn't get the upgrade, the least one expects is some consideration.

The pool area is tiny and not maintained. There is no onsite gym. Their pet policy is not actually that friendly. The staff was very nice and the bar is surprisingly active.
