Noisy
Not so good stay because of the thin walls! Lots of noise from the Chinese guests stomping above us well into the night so very hard to sleep. Front desk useless!

Nice modern hotel.
Nice hotel just outside of the city with views over the city. Modern hotel and great to catch the Nanta show.

Nice hotel but you will need a car
Hotel Nanta Jeju is a nice hotel if you want to stay away from the city centre. It is located on top of a hill, so you will need to rent a car. Breakfast buffet is good but not fantastic - the buffet spread hardly changes over different days.

Close to Mount Hallasan
Clean, nice, modern, and big room! We had a great view of the mountain and the room was very comfortable. Only thing was the room was too hot as the lowest we could set the thermosat was 26 degrees Celsius and it seemed to work on some sort of auto mode as it would fluctuate itself between 24-32 degrees within the room. This might also just be a Korean thing as every hotel and Airbnb we stayed in seemed to have the room temperature set minimum 25+. Hotel location is good if you're planning on visiting Mount Hallasan as it's around a 10-30 minute drive (depending on which hike/entry point you're visiting). We hiked up the Seongpanak Trail and it was a 15 minute drive from our hotel. Getting into Jeju City was about a 30 minute drive. The BIGGEST downside to this hotel is parking. Free parking is available but it's very limited and by the end of the day, many cars are parked along the side as there are no more spots. Shame because there is so much empty land around the hotel. You will not be fined or towed for parking incorrectly, however. Hotel front staff were also judgy towards foreigners. They asked for both mine and my boyfriend's passport for photocopies and they openingly commented to each other in Korean while pointing at the photocopies, knowing we couldn't understand them. There is only 1 restaurant and 1 cafe/bar in the hotel--not 18 like the description says. The convenience store is within the lobby which was convenient!
