Great pub, terrible accommodation
The staff were lovely and the pub itself nice. The room though was awful. I'm no light sleeper, but the noise from the other rooms was very loud. Room itself was in poor condition, dusty and the bed uncomfortable.

8/10 Very good

The staff were really welcoming, but no-one was on duty when I left. I handed the room key to the cleaner who spoke no English. The downstairs room I was in was not well insulated from noise in the room upstairs.

Give it a miss
I'd read the reviews before booking and although some said it needed updating these were in the minority so I took a chance. I should have listened. The positives was that the bed was comfortable giving a good nights sleep and the shower was good as well. Everything else left a lot to be desired. The room is very basic to the extreme, no fridge, no wardrobe. The room is the very definition of sparse. When asked about breakfast we were given a list to choose from and told they didn't do hot breakfasts during the week. What I hadn't expected that it would be placed in a broken paper bag and placed on the window ledge outside the room. I only noticed it as I stepped outside at 10.30 at night when I saw it. Also from a (lack of) safety point of view the door leading to the fire escape is left open all night. All in all, I can't recommend The Wishing Well which is a disappointment as I remember coming here many years earlier for a wedding receiption and the food then was great. The following night we spent in Central London near to Tottenham Court Road and the cost wasn't that much more than here
How breakfast was left. Note the milk is uncovered. We left it on the window sill in our room as there was no fridge to keep it in
The breakfast. I chose most of the items that was available on the list.
