Not a good night's sleep
We had a room in the basement where the windows were level with the pavement on a busy road. It was very noisy, as if there wasn't any double glazing. We paid £400 per night for this room. From what I heard from the receptionist speaking to another customer, the hotel knows that this is an issue.

Overall satisfied with the Hotel.
Beautiful hotel! Perfectly situated! Right next to the Rijksmuseum! Close to trams. 20 out of 10 for location! We stayed there for 9 days, so the room size was definitely a bit of an issue for us as it was almost impossible to try and live out of a suitcase for the whole period. (Barely any cupboard space, and very little to none space to put your suitcases- but as South Africans we are spoilt with space) The service was great! Breakfasts more than enough!

My Stay in Amsterdam
The Leonardo Boutique Hotel was lovely, close to the Rijksmuseum that I visited twice. Across from a canal and near some very good restaurants. Staff were always polite and helpful, and the hotel proper and the rooms were very clean. Rooms and en suite bathrooms aren’t big by North American standards, but perfectly adequate. I would recommend staying there and hope to return some day.
