A nigh-perfect place to stay in every way. Pleasant, professional staff. Quiet, comfortable room with wholly effective blackout curtains. Excellent location for all downtown sites and convenient to freeways. Highly recommended.

They were gracious to allow us to check in early on the morning. We’ve stayed here many times in the past, but now with Covid going 8 months, the reduced business is showing its effect. The room is showing some disrepair and wear. I hope things pick up and they do better. This is one of the finest hotels in Reno, by far

Ladies Spa Night in Downtown Reno
We had an incredible "girls getaway" last night at the Renaissance. They let us check in a little early and we had a room on the 8th floor with a great view of the River and Downtown. The Refuge Spa was INCREDIBLE. Don't miss it if you are staying here. We each got a 50 min massage and a 50 minute facial and were able to use the infared sauna and enjoy the spa lounge. This quick little getaway was just what the doctor ordered! We will be back soon!

I like the the fact that it is very nice and clean hotel and very close to the casinos. I also loved that hotel is pet friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was that there’s no family restaurant, my daughter felt intimidated to walk by the bar area. It is very business oriented. I loved this hotel and I will be back!

My husband and I knew we wanted to do a staycation in Reno for our anniversary. We also knew we would be having The Shore. After some time researching where to stay, I decided to just book us 2 nights here, was a little expensive but WELL worth the price. Upon arrival, the hotel smells clean, there are not millions of people like a lot of other hotels in reno. Check in was easy, the details of the hotel were so aesthetically pleasing. There were hand sanitizer stations everywhere. Our room was SO CLEAN with a beautiful view. The customer service was timely and professional. The hotel itself is near a lot of great places downtown, within walking distance too. The best part though, The Shore. my husband and I have been to a lot of places in our life but, we can both hands down, say that this is the best restaurant we have ever been to. There is true love in every bite of food. If you can afford it, this is such a treat to eat here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for some peace within the hustle and bustle of this 24/7 city.

Great for quick weekend getaway.
Great stay. Self parking. The staff were very friendly. The game room downstairs was closed. Pool is open. The food at the restaurant was good as ever. You have the ability to rent bicycle at the front desk, please make sure you pick your own bike. The bike we were given had a pretty flat tire. Easy walk to everything.
