Pleasantly Surprised By This Hotel
Wanted to stay near the Bogotas Airport. Last trip about 5 months ago I stayed at one of the 2 Marriott Courtyards nearby, It was not that great an experience. I read reviews of this property and gave it a shot. Pleasantly surprised. Great Place, can recommend. Only so/so areas are: water pressure in sink and shower could be better. It is located all by itself about 1/2 mile from the airport. If you want to have lunch or dinner, you are a prisoner in the hotel, nothing else anywhere nearby. Food in the hotel restaurant ok, except many of the items on the menu where not available. Breakfast provided was good. Also, it is well insulated from the airport noise, runway about 1/4 mile away, I could not hear the airplanes. MAJOR PLUS, this hotel not only has heating but AIR CONDITIONING. Even 5 star hotels in Bogota most do not have AC. Will I stay here again next trip, PROBABLY !

Just ok.
Convenient to the airport and they have a shuttle. Room was small but clean, shower was atrocious (water was cycling between warm to scalding...). Service was so so (checking is I had to wait 1/2 hour for them to get a room ready for me and checkin out another 20mn for them to find my lunch tab). Breakfast is below average for this type of hotel in Bogotá, restaurant was only so so. Not in a neighborhood where you can walk around either. So... If you need to overnight in Bogotá close to the airport (don't want to have to go all the way to Zona T), and get a good price, this could be a reasonable option.

Wonderful.....well, except for dining choices.
I rated the local area not high—but the hotel is close to the airport, so.... We fly through Bogota regularly, and just found this place. We would have no problems staying again, and for the price you just can’t do any better. The only problem we encountered is finding dinner. There is the deli downstairs...and that is it if you don’t get a taxi. Although the food was OK (nothing special) when we went it was overwhelmed. No place to sit, several unbussed, empty tables. We finally talked a large group into separating out a table for us to sit at. Food took quite awhile. We couldn’t get our check, so finally went to stand at the counter. They had us sign our room number and name. Next morning checking out, it was nowhere to be found. So we found a menu, added up what we had, and just gave the cash to the front desk of the hotel.....BUT, the bed was comfy, room was new, totally clean, and surprisingly quiet considering how close we were to the airport. Breakfast was great.
