Very interesting building , very smart renovation that incorporates the historical building

The hotel is unique in that it was once a monastery which has been converted into beautiful hotel rooms. The decor is modern with great style and touches. It’s well located within walking distance of the old harbor full of restaurants, shopping and sunset views. I highly recommend staying at Madonna Del Mare.

Our stay was very short, but the owner has done wonders with the decor. Very beautiful inside. However, there was no balcony.

Amazing Amazing Amazing. Everything about this hotel/suite is amazing. Amazingly set up interiors in a historical building, very creatively set up. We were on our honeymoon and this was the best hotel experience so far. Our hotel contact waited for us outside the hotel to help us park and amongst other things, had wine for us waiting in our rooms in a decanter! The location is right at old town. Everything was just awesome.

Amazing little boutique hotel in the center of Chania. The service was wonderful & welcoming and they gave great recommendations of restaurants in the area.

Great location, great room. It's a bit confusing at first, though. No lobby or anything. You meet up with the owner and he lets you in and gives you the tour. Creative use of a historic property, coupled with a clean, modern interior. Both rooms have a sitting room and a bedroom, so it's rather convenient and pretty comfortable.

We wanted to stay in the heart of the old town and we're lucky to find a room available here at this almost new apartment in an old monetary, overlooking the harbour. The arrangement to meet Vangelis to access the apartment was very convenient and he showed us around the space and made good recommendations for eating out locally. The room was perfectly clean and tidy when we arrived, and was serviced each morning. Fruit, wine and biscuits were a nice touch and there was also tea and coffee. One piece of earning, although there is an off road private parking space adjacent to the property, we had very great difficulty getting out of it, because of some inconsiderate parking by others....and we were only driving a Fiat Panda!

Great hotel in an old building located in the very center of the historical part. Nice atmosphere, great stylish interiors, comfortable bed, big bathroom. The host was very nice. One of the best boutique hotels!
