A one night stopover
Our only comment as to the hotel is that the beds were not comfortable. All very clean which was a good point, and the breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Bedside lights not working, one shade missing.

Lovely little hotel - very friendly
Lovely little 'guest house' type hotel, part of the golf club. Room was small but adequate and had everything we needed. It was modern, extremely clean and with a fabulous big double shower. Breakfast in the golf club was superb and the staff are all really happy, polite and helpful. We stopped to go to a football match at the Liberty stadium which was a convenient 10 minute drive away.

Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff.
The service was excellent, the staff were polite and friendly. The restaurant took last orders at 5.30pm which was a little early for me, but not an issue. Breakfast is not served until 8.00am, a little late for me, but they prepared a very good breakfast the night before and left it outside my room so no complaints there. There was a good range of food on the dinner menu although no starters or sweets, again not really an issue.

A mixed bag
Difficult to find hotel, impossible to find check in. Tiny attic room without window, though it did have a skylight. 3rd floor walk up with a dimly lit stairway. But very clean, excellent breakfast, friendly morning staff. Lovely view of the golf course with sheep and horses on it from outside the hotel.

Pricey for what it is
Location ok and as described. Room comfortable but nothing special. Room above the Pro shop so don’t get a lie in. Breakfast very good.

Lovely quiet stay
I booked this hotel not realising is was a golf lodge - not that this was a problem at all. The first I knew of it being a golfing place was when I was looking for directions to the post-code after my day of work and the map showed it on the edge of a golf course, with mentions of the golfing but nothing mentioned about the hotel. I googled a bit more and found the hotel was a separate building right next door - so no problem. I turned up and found the hotel reception was the bar inside the golf lodge. Check-in was fine and friendly. I was shown to my room in the next building. Only 6 rooms in there which was fine by me. I was on top floor, and the only windows were the Velux windows (great view of the Swansea bay from them) in the roof - these were lovely and let in a nice cool breeze which was welcome after the hot day I'd had. The room was big enough, and the beds were comfy. The en-suite bathroom was nice and clean, with just a shower that was good. Breakfast was server back in the golf lodge bar and was very nice - cereals etc plus a cooked-to-order english breakfast was included in the price - cooked options had to be ordered the previous night. Overall, the place was very clean, welcoming, friendly and quiet - I'd come back here again.
