Very disappointing stay
The location of the hotel is very good and one of the staff on the reception was very nice, but we were really really disappointed with a number of things that happened. We arrived at 2.30 and were told that the room was not ready but it would be ready by 3.00 as that is the guaranteed check in time. We arrived back at 2.55 and the room was still not ready. We were told at 3 by one of the staff that we would have to wait a further 10 minutes because the floor is wet to which she started to laugh at us. When we were told we could check in, we were then asked to pay for the stay (even though we had been there for 40 minutes and were just waiting for them.) There was a mix up about whether the booking had been paid in advance and this caused further delay whilst we sat in reception. Further delay. We were eventually escorted to our room and told we were upgraded. If it was actually an upgrade it is the worst I have ever had. We were ecorted up and down three lots of stairs through about 6 corridoors, 4 fire doors and taken to a room that was not really in the same building as the reception. There are about 5 rooms that are separate to the rest of the hotel where you cannot access them with a lift. So disappointing and really anoying trying to find your way in and out of the hotel all of the time. Overall it was really poor service and a very poor reception after a long journey to get there.

Cozy, Excellently Located Home Away from Home
The staff were all so pleasant and helpful! The location is superb - all the sites to see are just a short walk away and if you arrive by car, they offer a discount for the parking garage a block and a half away.

Great place to stay in Nuremberg
Loved our accommodation at the Melter Hotel & Apartments in Nuremberg. Came for the world famous Christmas market by train so wanted some where close to the train station but also the main market square. The Melter Hotel & Apartments was a perfect location. Easy walk from the train station and to the center of the city. The room was spacious and well set up. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and room was quite. Also like the convenience of the kitchenette. Staff where super nice and helpfully answered all our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Christmas Market Adventure
Melter is on the main strip in downtown Nuremberg and only a 6 minute walk from the main train station. The location was perfect for our Christmas Market adventure in Nuremberg. There was more than enough space in the room with our two carry ons and one checked baggage. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely stay here again.

Best Hotel Ever!
I loved this hotel. I loved the location, the room, the kitchen area, and the guest laundry. Most of all, I loved the staff. I loved that they felt like old friends who just wanted to help me and make my stay the best ever. This may be the best hotel I've ever visited and I'd love to go back someday.

Great Hotel in the old town. Very good location for walking around the old town. Hotel clean and bed very comfortable and staff wonderful. Always very helpful. Parking around the corner for 10e a day and breakfast in a small coffee shop next door was a buffet style and very good.
