Clean, and Dirt Cheap
This is a capsule hotel, a uniquely-Japanese accommodation where you pay approximately ¥4000 to sleep in a kind of walled-off bunk with shared bathing facilities. Until recently they were men-only, but now co-ed versions, with separate floors for men and women have started springing up in surprisingly tony parts of Tokyo. Everything here was very clean. The showers had separate booths and the staff was young and very helpful. Even though they didn’t speak English, there were signs in English everywhere indicating that non-Japanese are welcome. I was the only NJ, and the only person over 40 there, but I wouldn’t hesutate to stay there again if I needed a clean, comfortable safe, and above all cheap, place to stay.

Amazing location, 2 subway stations within 5 min. Convenient store right downstairs with lots of restaurants. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower. Not recommended for light sleepers as people checking in and out through the night and different alarms start going off from 6 am. Overall great place to have a sleep and clean up! Defiantly will stay here again!

Not my cup of tea
Probably good for a late stop over but not good for general purpose accommodation. Way too hot, noisy and uncomfortable. Just not my cup of tea. But very friendly staff. Booked two nights, only stayed 1.
