Will be coming back again. Only did not like the outside party noise in the evening.
Location is excellent! Good A.C. in the rooms which is great for the humid weather. Front desk customer service could be better. Restaurant food was good. WI FI is terrible!
Clean, good location and friendly staff. There is a night clue across the street in front of hotel (same side as my room). So if loud music is a problem for you get a room facing the lake not the front of hotel.
We were three women traveling together and had a nice, clean room with three double beds although not alot of extra space. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake and within walking distance to all there was to see. Tikal ruins were an hours drive and were amazing. Wifi was good in our room.
This hotel is perfect location, large balconies. Would be suitable for families, couples, friends travelling together. Really good wifi. A cute little Italian restaurant overlooking the lake. Great find for a good price!
We spent two nights, which allowed us to visit the Crater Azul one day, and then we were off to Tikal. This hotel is right on the island of Flores, and it is very convenient to restaurants, shops, and two ATM machines are just a couple of buildings away. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar, that overlook the lake Peten Itza. The room was comfortable, and had a small balcony that also overlooked the lake. The staff were very friendly, and even made us a bag lunch (when we asked the night before) for our day trip, which was inexpensive. Lovely little colonial town, lots of cobblestone roads, and plenty of interesting things nearby. We visited an animal rescue sanctuary - which you can only get to by boat. Looked a jaguar right in the eye - wow! You can hire the boats just in front of the hotel on the lake. There is also a small museum on the little island closeby, which is worth a visit. Full of Mayan artifacts that were found in the lake. We felt very safe staying this this little hotel, and would recommend to other travelers.
The location of the hotel was nice - beautiful lakeside views. However, the room was tiny and crowded and the beds seemed very small (double beds).
A nice place and location with friendly staff. 3-bed room was very crowded. No room for luggage. But the king size room my parents had was perfect.
The hotel itself is nice enough. The view of the lake is excellent, overlooking the promenade. However, during our booking, part of the booking stated free breakfast. When we asked the front desk about this, they said they were not sure and had to ask. We still were not given an answer until I went to the front desk and showed them my copy of the booking arrangements. Then we got our breakfast vouchers. Incidentally, the breakfast was very good. Now, we were there during Holy Week, so I knew there would be some mayhem. Away from the water, there is a disco across the street. I do not know how people on that side of the hotel could sleep. It was not a problem on the lake side. However, there was significant noise in the hallways by some of the people staying at the hotel. Also, beware that parking can be a real problem. We were lucky to find a place at all, but again, it was Holy Week.
