MEININGER Hotel Berlin East Side Gallery

Perfect location, very easy to travel all over Berlin. Awesome East Side Gallery close and Ostbahnhof also. Clean, modern and moderate priced hotel.

I went with four other female friends, we stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it helped a lot with getting ready in the morning that our dorm had a room for the shower and a separate one for the toilet, each with a sink and mirror. Avoids one person hogging up an entire bathroom. While that was a huge plus, the actual room with the beds was a bit cramped but since I was amongst friends, it was not a big deal. And it was nice room with a tv, a table in the corner, and really nice individual sleeping spaces. My biggest negative about the room though, is that the locker spaces don't have means to actually lock and secure your belongings, fortunately the 6th bed was never booked so the room was all to us and that made me feel more secure with my valuables.

A great, cheap hotel, perfect for my stay with my three teenagers in a family room. Small rooms but great wifi. Comfortable beds (!) and pillows and a brand new, fresh bathroom. Location was right next to the famous East Gallery Berlin Wall and the water. Some cool places (both cheap and more expensive) to eat along the river and a 15 min walk to Kreuzberg. The hotel breakfast was ok (and not too expensive) and there was a kitchen available if we wanted to cook our own food. The room was a bit dusty so cleaning could be improved. But we'd go there again!

Great hotel, great staff and great stay.

Brand new hotel close to train station Ostbahnhof, so perfect if you just stay for one night to catch the morning train or flight (direct train to Schoenefeld airport from Ostbahnhof, 20 min). Not so good for longer stay as it is in the middle of big construction area. Staff very nice, high speed internet.Rooms are very small but the price was really low so this is ok.

Excellent location for travelling. Stone throw away from Ostbahnhof, meaning you can get anywhere in Berlin in about 20 minutes. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel room was always clean. Will definitely stay here again when I return.

I’m a sensitive sleeper so I would not stay here again but it’s fine for one night. There are no blackout curtains so the lights from the buildings across the way came in through the curtains. Also, if you stay near elevator it can be slightly noisy.

Had to pay 5 euro at check-in as a fee that my booking was made from hotels.com. not much but the feeling was not that great. But, it is a nice hotel, good price and all of that.I always enjoy berlin
