Generally quiet for a hostel, which is a nice bonus. Swipe cards for rooms adds a nice sense of security, though it lacked lockable storage within the room itself.

We arrived very late. Used a on-site phone to contact staff. Within minutes got check in. Very fast. Nice facilities with kitchen, tv room and snuker table. Next morning fifteen minutes drive to radium hot springs. We enjoyed a nice trip.

Keycards in a hostel were a good idea. It got hot at night however. Kitchen was a nice bonus.

Super basic. If you just need a place to crash. Kinda had a cell block feel to it. Wouldn't stay there again. I've stayed at much nicer hostels with a pleasant vibe.

Poor 2.0
From the outside this hostel looks very nice. We went up the stairs and opened the door to our room. The smell was disgusting. We opened the window and left the door open for a few hours to eliminate the smell. There were two motor homes parked below just outside our room in the side parking lot.. The owner had visitors and they would talk very loudly. It was quite annoying. There were 2 Kitchens on our floor (2). They were both small, unorganized and one had a washer and dryer crammed in it. At 10:30 pm we went to bed. After 15 minutes, asked the two guys that were sitting outside our room if they could move as they were talking so loud we couldn't sleep. The person in the room above walked so loudly I would say Big Foot is up and about. When we awoke in the morning, we could hear the vibration of a cell phone from the next room. At no time did we ever want to take our shoes off other than to sleep in the bed which was comfortable and clean.

A hostel is a hostel. It was a great place to crash for the night. The room was clean. Our only complaints were that the bathrooms were not very clean and that the door had like an inch gap at the bottom. Not very sound proof.
