Unfortunately we did not have a great stay at Swansea Hotel.. When we first arrived the staff at the bar were helpful and kind but this was the only upside of the night.
We booked this hotel as we were heading to a concert for the night, when we returned all of the doors were locked (no one had advised the keys we were given would not open the doors after a certain time). Thankfully we were able to get the attention of a security guard who opened the door for us.
In the morning we saw the state of the room, which was not pleasant. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in months and the ensuite bathroom was unusable (black mold growning in the corners of the shower, no drain cover in the sink). The only thing that looks clean was the sheets on the bed.
As we were finishing our pack up we received a knock at the door at 10:05am (check out was 10am, 5 mins late), a lady (who we assume is the manager) rudely asked if we were leaving yet and proceeded to tell us the time.
I will not be staying here again, and feel that you would find better facilities at a camp ground.
