AMAZING & UNFORGETTABLE experience at Bel Jou. After spending 6 days at this beautiful resort in Castries, my boyfriend and I didn't want to leave! Where do I start? The staff were the friendliest people I've ever met. They answered all of our questions and went out of their way to make sure we had the best time, even going so far as to drive us into town so we could grab last-minute concert tickets! From the staff who helped carry our bags, to the servers, to the maintenance crew – we could not have asked for better service. THANK YOU. The food was 10/10, sooooo good! Fresh and full of local flavour. Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff who made sure the buffet was stocked with varied dishes every single day! The resort itself is stunning, clean and spacious, and the views overlooking the ocean and mountains are fantastic. There was entertainment every single night, & we were lucky enough to catch their Independence Day festivities, where dj's and dancers came together to celebrate the sounds of dennery (St Lucia's local music). All in all, we feel so blessed to have chosen this resort for our first trip to St Lucia. It will certainly not be the last – and we can't wait to see our Bel Jou fam once again!

The best part of this property is by far the staff. They are amazing and helpful; some notable ones are Samantha, Cyprian, Shana, Andrea and Princess. All of them especially go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable. The resort is nice but small. Normally wouldnt be a problem but only 2 pools so at times (especially on days the shuttle does the run), hard to get a chair by the pool especially for two. Also lack of varied food options is a bit of an issue especially if you are staying for more than a week. Overall i would say it is a great resort especially given the price for it in comparison to other resorts but there are some issues to be ironed out to make it better (more pool towels would help - we had about 36 hrs where we kept being told there were none available).

The property was well-maintained, the view from rooms that faced the ocean was lovely. Staff was beyond accomodating from beginning to end of our stay. Little things like washcloths not being provided without asking and initially no way to charge our cellular devices without proper adapters which were not available on day one were an inconvenience. All were rectified by second day.
