I had a booking of two rooms that I have asked over the phone to be connected. Front office were kind enough to upgrade one of the rooms to a suite. I arrived at Iftar time. the restaurant took more than 25 minutes to serve our food, however the food was good. the bathroom in the room was too small. I did not like flooring as I prefer carpet or parquet. in the last day, at 12 pm a gentleman from front desk called me to ask about my checkout time while bluntly reminding me of how nice he was to upgrade one of my rooms.

We stayed here for a long weekend to go to the MotoGP at Losail. The hotel was recently renovated and is now called "VOCO". We received a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location of the hotel isn't too bad either- 10minute walk to DECC metro and 2 shopping centres, one including Carrefour supermarket. The room itself was spacious, had a lovely large comfy bed, wonderful view and lots of facilities including a nice coffee machine, microwave, 2 ring electric hob, saucepan, crockery and cutlery. There was also a washing machine! Breakfast was good too with a nice variety of hot and cold items. It was our first time at Doha so unable to compare this hotel to other hotels in the area, though we enjoyed our stay here.
